How does the GSM/4G+ option work?

In the event of a wifi outage (breakdown or voluntary act), your
SIM card will take over by connecting to the GSM and 4G network.
4G+ will allow you to overcome the wifi outage by powering your
PA5801Z central unit online, so you can continue to manage your
central directly from the application.

The GSM option allows you to receive notifications from your control panel by SMS.
If triggered, you will receive a call* on your phone to alert you.

Please note that the SIM card only manages the alarm center and not the surveillance cameras, which only work via Wi-Fi. In the event of a Wi-Fi outage, you will receive SMS notifications when the system is triggered and you can arm/disarm it, but you will not be able to view the cameras.

*The call received is an empty call, only to notify you, it does not contain any voicemail.

Adding a SIM card to your control panel turns out to be:

The Afone SIM card ensures the sending of SMS and phone calls to registered numbers as soon as an intrusion occurs.

*or indicates that you have a communication credit. For example, you can use 15 minutes of phone calls and send 75 text messages during the month but you cannot use 30 minutes of calls and send 150 text messages in the same month, the same goes for 4G data

WHY CHOOSE AN AFONE CARD?

Conventional SIM cards are not intended for installation in a GSM alarm system. The general terms and conditions of use of French telephone operators prohibit their use in security devices. Indeed, these SIM cards are reserved for communications between two individuals. The operator may decide to suspend their use at any time without informing you.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY AFONE SIM CARD?

1. Install the SIM card into your Daewoo alarm system when it is off and then turn it on.

2. Activate the SIM card online on the Afone website

3. Enter the 20 digits of the SIM card.

4. Fill in your postal and banking details.

5. You will receive confirmation of SIM card activation by email.

6. Complete the identification form and return it signed to Afone customer service.
