This accessory detects any attempt to open a garage door and triggers the alarm system.

It works with our AM301 and AM302 system.

In addition to directly triggering your alarm, this garage door opener immediately sends you an alert notification to your smartphone via the dedicated DAEWOO HOME CONNECT app. When a garage door is opened, it immediately reports the anomaly so you can take quick action.

Your WDG301 garage door contactor is only compatible with the AM301 & AM302 control units. Find out how it works and what its specific features are!

Facility

The garage door opening detector adapts to the structure of all garage doors.

Attach one part of the accessory to your garage door and the other part to its frame or to the floor using screws and 3M sticker included in the package. We recommend installing the part including the transmitter (3) away from water.

If necessary and depending on the supports, it may be recommended to add a dot of glue to ensure the transmitter is properly fixed (3).

You can install this contactor at a maximum distance of 90 meters (in open space) from your AM301 alarm control panel.

Composition

1 & 2 - Magnets
These two parts are magnetized. When they are detached when you open your garage, your device will transmit the message to your control panel to generate an alert.

3 - Transmitter
This part is the transmitter for your garage door switch. This is also where you'll find the accessory battery.

Its materials are designed to withstand moisture in the event of rain and leaks in your garage. However, be sure to place the transmitter in a sheltered place.

Food

The WGD301 garage door opener is powered by a pre-installed 23A 12V*1 piece battery.

Battery life will depend on the number of openings per day. With normal use, the battery lasts approximately 1 year . When it is empty, you will receive an alert notification to replace it.

Tolerance

The gap between the two parts of the detector has a tolerance of 2 to 3 cm. If your garage door does not completely stick to the floor or its frame, you can still install this accessory.

Fixed to the ground, it resists the passage of a car.

Installation and usage tips

Even though it is designed to resist humidity, we recommend that you install the transmitter (3) away from water.

Bonne camera mais malheureusement le temps de cryptage sur l'application est beaucoup trop long et trop fréquent (plus dune minute et a recommencer parfois au bout de 5mn). C'est dommage et très négatif en cas d'alarme ou l'image est trop longue a apparaitre. Peut-être revoir ce point qui est un défaut gênant me concernant.
